About Us

Mission Statement

To Promote public awareness of the history and culture of the Arabic-speaking world, the richness of its music and the beauty of its dances, through Lecture/Demonstrations, performance programs and structured teaching programs.

To Entertain the general public by presenting professional dance concerts and dance programs with trained and accomplished dancers, traditional music and authentic costuming.

To Encourage positive interaction, through Dance, with local communities in celebration of music, movement and design. 

The Company

Organized as 501(c)(3) non-profit Dance Company in 1997, Aalim admits students of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs,and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship or loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.

Classes:  Classes are currently offered in Oklahoma City at 2520 N. Meridian

Past Performances:   Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, Oklahoma State Fair, Rose State College Globalfest, Peace Festival, India Festival and Sooner-Con 

Nightlife: Weekly  Arabian Nights bellydance shows at Zorba's Mediterranean Cuisine, Cloud Hookah Lounge, and Sheikh Hookah Bar on Saturday nights and the Arab After Hours show at Hubbly Bubbly Hookah & Café.

“Hire a Bellydancer”:  Aalim Princesses available for all your entertainment needs! Birthday parties, wedding, anniversary or retirement parties.  Specialty options include our Bellybutton Parties (children’s birthday parties, including costume dress-up options) and Girls Night Out Parties for bachelorette parties or just getting together with your girlfriends for a fun, private bellydance lesson.
